Entries open for the 2016 Flying Fortress Stages

Dukeries Motor Club are pleased to confirm that entries will open on Monday 2nd May for the REX Pet Hotel Flying Fortress Stages which will be held at the former WW2 American 8th Air Force Base at Grafton Underwood on Sunday 26th June. We are very pleased to welcome REX PET HOTEL, Dog Kennels & Cattery, who are the sponsors of the event.

Dukeries Motor Club supported by the landowner and the MSA have made a considerable investment at the venue which has significantly improved the stage surfaces and uncovered some new concrete roads within the forest section which will allow the organising team to provide competitors with 50+ stage miles in 8 stages.

The Flying Fortress Stages is a round of three Regional stage rally championships; the Alexander Calder Financial EMAMC Stage Rally Championship, the Jelf Motorsport.com Stage Rally Championship and the Roadrunner / Phoenix Awards ANEMMC Stage Rally Championship plus the popular Dukeries Motor Club Championship.

The organisers have limited the maximum number of entries to 65 to ensure that the event runs as smoothly as possible, so entries are likely to be at a premium. There will be a Stage Practice event option on the last four stages for competitors who are unfortunate enough to retire on the earlier stages. Scrutineering and Documentation will be on Saturday 25th March from 2.30pm to 5.30pm (limited Scrutineering on Sunday morning from 7.30am to 8.15am).

We encourage competitors to submit their entry using the simple web entry system which is quick and efficient. Payments can be made via Bank Transfer, PayPal (credit and debit cards)      See the Competitors page for entry details.

Marshals:  For any rally to be successful it needs the assistance of a large number of officials, marshals and radio crews, and the organisers of the Flying Fortress Stages are very grateful for the support they receive from many motor clubs, groups and individuals.  If you are able to help, please contact the event Marshals Co-ordinator Steve Gascoigne

Spectators:  Sorry, but this is event is held on private estate land and is therefore strictly non-spectator.
